قدم الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، رئيس الجمهورية، الترحيب بنظيره الألماني فرانك فالتر شتاينماير، كأول رئيس ألماني يزور مصر على مدار 25 عامًا مضت، وتعد الزيارة الأولى لـ فرانك فالتر شتاينماير.
تحدث الرئيس السيسي في المؤتمر الصحفي المشترك مع فرانك فالتر شتاينماير الرئيس الألماني، أن زيارة الرئيس الألماني تمثل إضافة وانعاكسًا لتاريخ ممتد من التعاون بين البلدين.
أشار الرئيس السيسي إلى تقدير مصر للشراكة مع ألمانيا، موضحًا حرص البلاد على التعاون مع الدولة الألمانيا؛ احترامًا لألمانيا وللشخصية الألمانية، واصفًا إياها بأحد أهم الشركاء لمصر.
أردف السيسي: “إسهامات الشركات الألمانية في مصر كبيرة ورائعة ومقدرة من جانبنا، وكان له تأثير على البنية الأساسية لمصر، كما ناقشنا باستفاضية الكثير من القضايا”.
أكمل الرئيس السيسي: “وتحدثنا عن استمرار تطوير العلاقات بين البلدين وإيجاد آلية للتعاون الاستراتيجي بين الدولتين والتعاون بمجالات مختلفة كالتعليم وبناء القدرات”.
جدير بالذكر أن الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، رئيس الجمهورية، استقبل فرانك فالتر شتاينماير رئيس جمهورية ألمانيا الاتحادية، في قصر الاتحادية الرئاسي.
