شهدت انتخابات التجديد النصفي لنقابة الصحفيين، اليوم الجمعة، مشاركة الكاتب الصحفي والإعلامي أحمد المسلماني، رئيس الهيئة الوطنية للإعلام، الذي وصل إلى مقر النقابة للإدلاء بصوته في الانتخابات.
وتواصلت عملية توافد أعضاء الجمعية العمومية إلى مقر النقابة بوسط القاهرة، وسط طوابير متزايدة منذ الساعات الأولى لفتح باب التصويت، في أجواء يسودها الحماس والتنظيم، لاختيار نقيب جديد و6 أعضاء بمجلس النقابة.
وكانت اللجنة المشرفة على الانتخابات قد فتحت باب التسجيل في كشوف الحضور عند العاشرة صباحًا، في خامس دعوة لعقد الجمعية العمومية بعد أربع محاولات سابقة لم تكتمل بسبب عدم تحقق النصاب القانوني.
وتشهد الانتخابات تنافسًا قويًا بين 8 مرشحين على مقعد النقيب، و43 مرشحًا على عضوية المجلس، وسط إشراف قضائي كامل لضمان نزاهة العملية الانتخابية.
