نفت المملكة العربية السعودية ما تردد مؤخرًا بشأن وقف إصدار التأشيرات قصيرة الأجل لمواطني عدد من الدول العربية، من بينها مصر والمغرب والأردن وتونس، مؤكدة أن تلك الأنباء لا أساس لها من الصحة.

تداولت بعض المنصات الإلكترونية خلال الساعات الماضية تقارير تزعم أن السعودية ستبدأ تطبيق قرار جديد اعتبارًا من 13 أبريل الجاري، يتضمن حظر التأشيرات السياحية وتأشيرات الزيارة العائلية والعملية قصيرة الأجل لمواطني 14 دولة، وأن حاملي التأشيرات السارية لن يُسمح لهم بالبقاء داخل أراضي المملكة بعد 12 أبريل، وإلا سيتعرضون لعقوبات تصل إلى منع الدخول لمدة خمس سنوات.
لكن وفقًا لتقارير إعلامية موثوقة، أبرزها ما نشره موقع هسبريس المغربي، أكدت الجهات المختصة في السعودية أن الوثيقة المتداولة بهذا الشأن غير صحيحة، ولم تصدر عن أي جهة رسمية، كما شددت المملكة على أهمية استقاء المعلومات من المصادر الحكومية المعتمدة، وعدم الانسياق وراء الشائعات.
ودعت الجهات الرسمية جميع المواطنين والمقيمين والمتعاملين مع خدمات التأشيرات، إلى التواصل المباشر مع السفارات أو القنصليات السعودية للحصول على تفاصيل دقيقة بشأن إجراءات السفر، خاصة مع اقتراب موسم الحج وزيادة الطلب على التأشيرات.
