وتابع السفير الأمريكي خلا تصريحات أثناء زيارته بلدة ترمسعيا في الضفة الغربية، أن الإرهاب جريمة، موضحًا أنه لا يدعم الأشخاص الذين يسيطرون على ممتلكات الآخرين، ولا يدعم أي ممارسات تقوم على الاستيلاء غير المشروع على الممتلكات.
وأردف السفير الأمريكي أن زيارته إلى ترمسعيا جاءت بهدف الاطلاع على الأوضاع ميدانيا وفهم الواقع على الأرض، مؤكدًا أهمية الاستماع إلى مختلف الأطراف والوقوف على التطورات في الضفة الغربية بصورة مباشرة.
وأكمل السفير الأميركي أن موقفه لا يشمل دعم التهجير القسري أو الاستيلاء على ممتلكات الغير، مشيرًا إلى ضرورة التعامل مع هذه القضايا وفق القانون واحترام حقوق الأفراد وممتلكاتهم.
