رحل عن عالمنا الدكتور عمرو حلمي، وزير الصحة الأسبق وأستاذ جراحة الكبد، حيث بدأت منذ قليل صلاة الجنازة عليه في مسجد مصطفى محمود بمنطقة المهندسين، بعد صلاة الظهر، مع حضور أفراد أسرته، وتلامذته، وعدد من الشخصيات العامة، إضافةً إلى نخبة من أعضاء الأسرة الطبية الذين حرصوا على وداعه.
تشييع جثمان الدكتور عمرو حلمي إلى مقابر العائلة في الشرقية
وجدير بالذكر أن يتجه المشيعون بعد انتهاء صلاة الجنازة إلى قرية كفر الشورشي التابعة لمركز الزقازيق في محافظة الشرقية، حتى يتم دفن جثمان الراحل في مدافن العائلة، تنفيذًا لوصية الأسرة.
وعمل الدكتور عمرو حلمي، في منصب وزير الصحة الأسبق في حكومة الدكتور عصام شرف، وكان أهم أبرز جراحي الكبد في مصر، وكان قد توفى ليلة الخميس الماضي، بعد رحلة حافلة بالعطاء في المجالين الطبي والعام.
