انتقد الإعلامي أحمد شوبير حالة الأهلي خلال الفترة الأخيرة، بعد التعادل مع المقاولون العرب في الدوري المصري، مؤكدًا أن الفريق يحتاج إلى الهدوء والتقييم بدلًا من اللجوء المستمر إلى تغيير الأجهزة الفنية.
وتحدث شوبير عن حالة الجدل المثارة حول مستقبل الجهاز الفني، قائلًا إن هناك تيارًا قويًا يطالب بالتغيير داخل الأهلي، لكنه حذر من تكرار سيناريو إقالة المدربين خلال فترات قصيرة، خاصة بعد تعاقب ريبيرو وعماد النحاس وتوروب، وهو ما تسبب، بحسب وصفه، في حالة من اللخبطة داخل النادي.
وقال شوبير: «السؤال اللي بيشغل الرأي العام دلوقتي، هو الأهلي رايح على فين؟»، مطالبًا بضرورة منح الجهاز الفني فرصة للعمل وتقييم التجربة بشكل هادئ.

وتطرق حارس الأهلي السابق إلى التعادل أمام المقاولون، مؤكدًا أن الفريق ظهر بمستوى سيئ للغاية، وأن فقدان نقطتين لا يمكن تحميله لقرارات الحكم محمود بسيوني، رافضًا في الوقت نفسه الدخول في نغمة تبرير النتائج بسبب التحكيم.
وأضاف: أوعى حد يقولي إن الحكم محمود بسيوني سبب التعادل ولا خسارة نقطتين، انا لا افضل شغل المظلومية سواء عندما يتعلق الأمر بالأهلي أو بأي فريق آخر.
واختتم تصريحاته بالتأكيد على أهمية عقد جلسات منتظمة مع المدير الفني لمعرفة أسباب تراجع الفريق والعمل على علاجها، قائلًا: «مينفعش خالص كل كام ماتش نمشي مدرب، لازم يكون في تروي وهدوء».
