أكد محمد الشاذلي، المتحدث الرسمي باسم وزارة الشباب والرياضة، أن مصر ستتقدم بملف رسمي لاستضافة بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا 2028، مشيرًا إلى أن الدولة تمتلك كل المقومات اللازمة لتنظيم البطولة بشكل مثالي.
وأوضح الشاذلي أن مصر أخطرت اتحاد الكرة بجاهزيتها الكاملة لاستضافة البطولة، موضحًا أن ملف الاستضافة سيتم تقديمه رسميًا إلى الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “كاف”، مؤكدًا أن الدولة جاهزة لتنظيم النسخة المقبلة على أعلى مستوى.
وأشار الشاذلي إلى أن البنية التحتية والملاعب المصرية مؤهلة بالكامل لاستضافة البطولة، موضحًا أن مصر جاهزة ليس فقط لكأس أمم إفريقيا 2028، بل يمكنها أيضًا تنظيم كأس العالم مستقبلًا، مشددًا على قوة جاهزية الدولة من جميع النواحي الفنية والتنظيمية.
وتابع الشاذلي موضحًا أن مصر تحترم جميع الدول الإفريقية، لكنه شدد على أن بلاده الأجهز لاستضافة النسخة الاستثنائية لعام 2028، مؤكدًا أن التواصل مع اتحاد الكرة تم بالفعل لإبلاغهم بجاهزية الدولة الكاملة لاستقبال البطولة وإقامة منافساتها على أعلى مستوى.
