كشفت مصادر في قطاع إنتاج بيض المائدة والدواجن، تعليقًا على قرار جهاز حماية المنافسة بإحالة 21 منتجًا للبيض للنيابة بتهمة الاحتكار، إن الأسعار في هذا القطاع تخضع لعوامل العرض والطلب والتسعير اليومي.
وأوضح ثروت الزيني، نائب رئيس اتحاد منتجي الدواجن، أن مصر تحتوي على 37 ألف مزرعة لبيض المائدة والدواجن، ما يجعل من غير الممكن وجود اتفاق يومي بين جميع هذه المزارع لرفع أو خفض الأسعار.
وأضاف الزيني أن قطاع الدواجن وبيض المائدة يعتمد على العرض والطلب والتسعير اليومي، لأن هذه منتجات حية وليست سلعًا يمكن تخزينها.
وأشار الزيني إلى أن ارتفاع أسعار بيض المائدة والدواجن خلال العامين الماضيين كان نتيجة لنقص استيراد الأعلاف وارتفاع أسعارها العالمية، وهو ما عالجته الحكومة في تعاملها مع القطاع.
وأوضح أن أسعار الدواجن انخفضت بمقدار 20 جنيهًا للكيلو منذ شهر رمضان الماضي، الذي شهد ذروة الطلب السنوي، وحتى الآن.
من جانبه، أفاد محمود العناني، رئيس اتحاد منتجي الدواجن، أنه لم يتم إخطار الاتحاد بأي مخالفات أو بأسماء الأشخاص الذين تم إحالتهم للنيابة.
في وقت سابق اليوم، قرر مجلس إدارة جهاز حماية المنافسة تحريك الدعوى الجنائية ضد 21 من كبار منتجي بيض المائدة بتهمة الاتفاق على أسعار بيع البيض بالمخالفة للقانون.
وأوضح البيان الصادر عن الجهاز أن المحالين للنيابة من أعضاء شعبة بيض المائدة التابعة للاتحاد العام لمنتجي الدواجن، وقد تواصلوا مع كبار المزارع في نهاية اليوم لتحديد أسعار البيض للأيام التالية، وهو ما يشكل انتهاكًا لقوانين المنافسة.
