استقبل اللواء عمرو الغريب محافظ المنوفية، اليوم، بمكتبه بالديوان العام، أسرة الشاب وحيد متولي، المعروف بـ”شهيد الشهامة”، ابن قرية عزبة الدبايبة التابعة لمركز بركة السبع، والذي لقي مصرعه أثناء محاولته إنقاذ فتاة من حادث قطار.
وجاء ذلك بحضور صفوت معوض رئيس الوحدة المحلية لمركز ومدينة بركة السبع، في لفتة إنسانية تقديرًا لموقفه البطولي وتضحيته بحياته لإنقاذ الآخرين.
وخلال اللقاء، قدم محافظ المنوفية خالص تعازيه ومواساته لأسرة الشاب، مؤكدًا أن ما قدمه من بطولة وشجاعة سيظل نموذجًا مشرفًا يُحتذى به في الشهامة والإنسانية.
ووجه بصرف مساعدة مالية عاجلة للأسرة دعمًا لهم وتقديرًا لموقف نجلهم البطولي، مشددًا على أن المحافظة لن تدخر جهدًا في تقديم أوجه الرعاية والدعم الكامل للأسرة.
كما وجه المحافظ بإطلاق اسم الشاب على أحد شوارع قريته تخليدًا لذكراه، باعتباره رمزًا للفداء والتضحية، إلى جانب التنسيق مع جامعة المنوفية لتسهيل إجراءات نقل زوجة الفقيد، التي تعمل ممرضة، إلى أقرب وحدة صحية مراعاة لظروفها الأسرية ورعاية أبنائها.
وأكد حرص المحافظة على تلبية كافة احتياجات الأسرة وتقديم الدعم اللازم لهم خلال الفترة المقبلة.
ومن جانبها، أعربت أسرة الشاب عن خالص شكرها وتقديرها لمحافظ المنوفية على اهتمامه ورعايته لمطالبهم ووقوفه بجانبهم في مصابهم الأليم، فيما يُذكر أن الشاب وحيد متولي، والذي يعمل سائق توك توك.
لقي مصرعه الخميس الماضي أسفل عجلات قطار بمدينة بركة السبع، أثناء محاولته إنقاذ فتاة عشرينية، في مشهد إنساني مؤثر جسد أسمى معاني الشجاعة والفداء.
