أطلقت السلطات الهولندية تحقيقًا عاجلًا بعد اكتشاف مادة مخدرة داخل عبوات حلوى شهيرة من إنتاج شركة “هاريبو”، ما تسبب في إصابة عدد من الأطفال بأعراض صحية مفاجئة، أبرزها الغثيان والدوار.

الواقعة بدأت بعد بلاغ من زوجين في منطقة توينتي شرق البلاد، أفادا بأن أطفالهما تعرضوا لوعكة حادة عقب تناولهم حلوى “هابي كولا F!ZZ”، حيث أظهرت الفحوصات وجود مادة “THC” الفعالة في نبات القنب (الحشيش).
تحركت الشرطة وفتحت تحقيقًا موسعًا لتحديد كيفية تسرب هذه المادة إلى الحلوى، وما إذا كان ذلك نتيجة خطأ في التصنيع أم فعل متعمد، وقالت المتحدثة باسم الشرطة، شانتال ويسترهوف، إن الجهود تتركز حاليًا على تتبع مصدر العبوات الملوثة.
من جانبها، أكدت هيئة سلامة الأغذية الهولندية أنها تلقت بلاغات عن ثلاث عبوات تسببت في أعراض صحية، ما دفعها لإصدار قرار بسحب شامل للمنتج من الأسواق كإجراء احترازي، رغم كونه مطابقًا للعلامة التجارية الأصلية لهاريبو.
وأعلنت الشركة بدورها تعاونها الكامل مع السلطات، مشيرة إلى أن العبوات المتأثرة تُباع بحجم 1 كجم، وتحمل تاريخ صلاحية ينتهي في يناير 2026، مع توفير خيار استرداد كامل للمنتج من قِبل العملاء.
وقال باتريك تاكس، نائب رئيس التسويق بالشركة: “نتعامل مع الأمر بمنتهى الجدية، وسلامة المستهلكين أولوية لا نقاش فيها”.
