تستعد البنوك في مصر لإتاحة خدمة فتح الحسابات المصرفية عن بُعد لأول مرة في تاريخها، باستخدام التوقيع الإلكتروني، وذلك خلال العام المالي 2026-2027.

وأشار مسؤول في البنك المركزي المصري في تصريحات صحفية”، إلى أن الجهات المعنية انتهت من التجهيزات الفنية والتشغيلية اللازمة لتطبيق الخدمة، بما يتيح للعملاء فتح الحسابات البنكية دون الحاجة إلى زيارة الفروع، وهو ما يمثل نقلة نوعية في الخدمات المالية داخل البلاد.
يذكر أن، تأتي هذه الخطوة ضمن استراتيجية أوسع لتوسيع الاعتماد على القنوات الرقمية وتقليل الاعتماد على الفروع التقليدية، بما يسهم في تسهيل وصول الخدمات المصرفية إلى شرائح أكبر من المواطنين، خاصة مع ارتفاع معدلات الشمول المالي إلى 77.6% بنهاية عام 2025.
ويُتوقع أن تسهم الخدمة الجديدة في خفض تكلفة ضم العملاء الجدد، وتسهيل اندماج فئات جديدة في القطاع المصرفي، إلى جانب دعم توجه الدولة نحو الاقتصاد الرقمي وتقليل التعاملات الورقية.
كما يتزامن هذا التطور مع دخول البنوك المصرية مرحلة منافسة جديدة في مجال البنوك الرقمية، حيث يعتزم البنك التجاري الدولي إطلاق بنك رقمي جديد باسم “يومو”، إلى جانب حصول “وان بنك” على ترخيص رسمي للعمل كبنك رقمي في مصر.
ويأتي ذلك في إطار القواعد التنظيمية التي أصدرها البنك المركزي المصري في يوليو 2023، والتي تسمح بإنشاء بنوك رقمية تقدم خدماتها بالكامل عبر القنوات الإلكترونية دون الحاجة إلى شبكة فروع تقليدية.
